Amazing sculpt.
Who is going to paint the boxart??? Mr Cartacci. If so, I think I gonna buy it.....I can never resist a figure with the boxart done by Cartacci.

Absolutely stunning! I pray that those 2 rear legs are strong enough to hold this fantastic beauty. Here goes my allowance for this year! A must have, no matter the consequences.
Cheers,
Zeno

This one may be just the piece to replace my classic Alpha Images 120mm version of the PWH I've had for about 12 years. But how am I going to get this AND the mounted Celtic warrior release past the Missus?:nailbiting:

Beautiful figure... Pegaso makes a nice 75 mounted.

I see a perfect vignette... with a little conversion work I see him getting sabred off his horse by a mounted Zaporozhian Cossack :sneaky:

Man, I like Polish Winged Lancers but sorry don't like this one :-(

Too much going on, plus not executed with finesse of other Pegaso releases in my personal opinion.
Especially hair, flowing items, feathers. Something about stance just doesn't seem right.

Richard has tried hard to provide something different for us & neat to see the popular support for the subject.
After all, I reckon you can't have too many Polish Winged Hussars :)
For me though the late Richard Almond's work has yet to be beaten.
And yes one day I'd like to have one of those beauties :)
For now I'll watch & wait for something to match its gravitas.

Personal thoughts only - Luca, Andrea & Pietro keep the choices coming!
No one else has consistently stretched the bar for the hobby over last 20 years.

Stay safe

Mike

P.S. For those who take up challenge of this guy, you may find a couple of old articles I did a few years back of some use.
No promise that all images are still available, but web is full of good period & modern Winged Hussar reference photos:
