Thanks guy's!

Johan, yes that's a recent figure (round september). We'll have to talk to Gary about producing a F-P figure. I think he has interest in a Prussian cuirassier bust ;)
If not a bust, then something definitely Prussian! Large scale of course 70mm or larger will work. Appreciate the compliments.

Jason, let's start lobbying for something with a spiked helmet ...or else for a Prussian hussar.

A bust of crusty old Bismarck would be great too I guess.

Hey Jason Love the skintone on the figure you posted  One question:do you prime the flesh areas beforehand ?If so,with white or black ? Keep up the good work and I'll try your flesh colour mix tonight Cheers (y) Kenneth.

Jason,

Just to repeat what's already been said, the entire figure is great but the flesh tones are very fantastic for acrylic. Being a relatively new painter myself, I've used nothing but acrylics, never tried oils. That's like learning how to drive with an automatic transmission as opposed to a stick. I've been floundering around trying to find a flesh tone formula that works for me, sometimes successfully, sometimes not, but I'll definitely have to break out the wallet to provide some job security for the Vallejo people after seeing your formula. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Mike

Thanks Joe, Mike, Frank

Kenneth, I've been using Citadel white primer. Has a good "tooth".

I think this is the same flesh combination that our friend Jaume Ortiz (sp?) uses.

as far as i know, he only uses 818 Red Leather as base color, that's why his flesh tone is a bit darker but wonderful too

but maybe he can answer himself, i'm just a fan of his work

and yes, he's spanish :)

Question: how do I go about posting pictures here? I've got quite a few items I've finished over the winter break, which I'd like to post here. Among them are:
1. Michael Roberts 54mm "Paul Isom, USMC" at Okinawa
2. LaTorre 54mm Guards Grenadier at Inkerman
3. Michael Roberts 1/35 US Marine Force Recon at Afghanistan (this last one will be released next month. I'll write a review on it here and on TnT as well. In a nutshell, BUY THIS FIGURE).
4. 2-figure vignette. One is the M.Roberts 54mm Ken Stelzel; the other one by its side is a conversion of this kit into a Mike Stelzel in Vietnam.
5. In-progress pics of Pegaso's 54mm General Buford figure (neat piece if you like painting blues).

Hola Pete,

There are a couple of ways to do this. First you can just attach the picture to your post by clicking the "Browse" button below the "Post Icon" smilies and select your file to be uploaded. Or you can upload your pictures to your gallery, and use the "IMG" tab above the posting window and select your picture from there.

Hope you figure it out so we can see some of your recent work!!
