Who's been a busy boy then! No wonder you told me you had been busy. Seriously mate I wish you every success with these weapons, I think the model makers have been waiting for these for a very long time.

Excellent, can see some I would like, you need to get yourself to the Victory show in September to get some more inspiration, lots of dealer have them on show etc as well as all of the displays, and it is your neck of the woods

Many thanks for the further comments everyone.

Tony, I will definitely be in attendance at the Victory show with my camera, I try to attend every year but last couple of years its has been cancelled due to weather, hoping it goes ahead this year its a great show and a great reverence resource for me.

cheers

Steve

Steve - I just received my 1/16th Steyr, Ariska, Mauser KAR/98, and Mosin Nagant rifle sets. Two rifles in each small container. I'm assuming you constructed the master of each, right? Did you do the casting as well?

They are absolutely outstanding. Perfect castings with the only "flash" being the end of the rifle stock bit needed to remove them from the molds and the closed up light film around the triggers. Both of which, I would say, are unavoidable. These are excellent products and great value for your current price. I would say just as good a 1/16th scale weapon casting as was once produced by the now defunct New Order Model Designs and, at your prices, better value.

Thanks!!

More please!

Sceptics and cynics please note - This is an unsolicited product endorsement. Steve didn't give me a discount or ask me to endorse his products, etc., etc. And I expect nothing in return.

They really are that good.

All the best,
Dan

Steve ,
These look really great the care and details that are involved but most of all I can almost feel your passion for producing weapons ..top stuff mate .

Just imagining what a display of machine guns would look like , the rifles all mounted in a frame ...Mmmmmmmmmm

Look forward to seeing these in close up I can imagine them being very popular as add on's or a display in their own right .

How about some pistols? I think you should be able to click on the image and get some info on each.

All the best,
Dan

Kev many thanks for the comments on the weapons, I have to admit I do actually enjoy creating weapons :)

Dan I am glad to here your order arrived safe and sound, cant wait to see what you do with them.

Yes each weapon is made completely from scratch using various materials, the main material I use now is Styrene sheet and rod with various gauges of wire etc.
All casting work is done by myself also.

Pistols are definitely on the agenda and I have a few that you have added images of on my `to do list` which is getting bigger by the week :).

there will definitely be more weapons to come.

All the best

Steve

Matthew send me some details, that might fit nicely into my 1/24 range, not a weapon I am familiar with though.

Who used it ?

It was the standard long arm of the US cavalry during Plains Indian Wars (think Custer and the Little Big Horn). Just Google Model 1873 Springfield Carbine (or trapdoor carbine).

Thank you Matthew I will look into it, after my previous post I had thoughts it was used during the plains Indian war but was not sure.

There she is, the most beautiful gun in the world the "Black Widow" German Luger P08 1941.:)

Dan, I will look at 1/24 and possibly 1/16 for the Springfield.

Pedro, Luger is definitely on the list of weapons :)

Steve

As always, if I can help with your projects, let me know. Personally I hate trying to make weapons. I've done conversions of Long Lee Enfields, a Mosin-Nagant and several others. So - glad to hear you actually like making them. To me making weapons is something akin to being poked in the eye with a sharp stick. I have a vested self-interest in keeping you churning them out, Steve; something I suspect many other modellers could say "AMEN!" to.

:)

All the best,
Dan

I just received the sets of Martiny-Henry and Enfield rifles.
They're true little gems (y)
The sculpt and cast are top notch (y)
Quality and great service!
Thank you Steve!
