New Release - Cuirassier 1812 Bust 1:9 Scale

Hi All

Please see the latest release from Bonaparte Military Models. This is a Cuirassier Bust from 1812. The bust is 1:9 scale and has been sculpted by Richard Bailey. Nice looking casting but once again I cannot get used to the 'amputee' look of these busts. I am sure it will do well though not for me

I really like that but I think I agree with Ken, if he has one arm just give the poor bugger the other.

This one is a nice one. The half right arm I could live and I think it tells a good story (possibly in Russian retreat) with him wrapped up in his saddle cloth.

.......but shouldn't there be a Medusa head on the front of the comb?..........dom

It is one hell of a nice looking bust but it dose need the other arm.

Nice piece and one of the few half figures I still like despire being a fan of the classical bust. I think its because he has been artisitically positioned and "cut" rather than looking like he just took part in a bad magician's 'cut 'im in 'alf trick.'

good sculpt but no shoulder pads under the cuirass? the cuirassier wore them always on the habit...

some minor uniformologic mistake but a very dramatic piece
