Well,it is Monday and no figure.....32 days after I sent a payment. You guys sure know how to take the fun out of what should be an awesome figure. It is a shame. I have had nothing but bad luck with your company....every time it is something....either 2 month delivery or broken parts or bad casting. I love some of your subject choices but the purchasing experience ruins the figure fun. I know now you will say you will send another, but then it will be too late for Paypal action. I am on a slow burn to be honest. Hell, I have gotten figures from Russia in half this time!

Steve, did you read my post and email, i dont think its fair to say it is us who are doing this, your figure was dispatched on the 03 march. And i have also offered you a replacement, you can see it was posted so its probably U.S customs who have it. i`ll send you another.

I ordered some figures from the USA at the beginning of March and they only arrived this week ever though they were sent air mail, most of the time they are held up in the customs sorting office, they got here in the end but really its all out of our hands once its in the hands of the postal service.

Cheers(y)
Tommi

Pete,

I think I am in the same boat on this. Can you PM me the tracking number on my order to see if we could find it?

Thanks
Todd

Hey Guys
Since the Task force black figure was released, upwards of 160 figures have been cast, packed and posted.
I wish that someone would say that they have received their figure but no one does!
Once a packet goes into the postal system, it is effectively out of our hands, the hands that clutch a receipt!
Maybe postage rates should go up to £40 for Fedex etc?
I know how frustrating it is waiting for something that you want and have paid for-I've been married!
All we can do here at MC is use the systems that are availiable to us, such as postal sevices!
I am not trying to make light of anything, I just want to say that we post our orders out
Pete

I am thinking about this......I bet if I had your figure and you were not paid in this amount of time, you would not be happy either. And why no tracking numbers on the receipt?

Its always frustrating when you're waiting for items to get through the postal system. I think it is worth bearing in mind that there are additional security checks in both UK and US customs (as well as other countries).

I have been in the situation when I've been waiting for items to get to me from the US, I find that its best to contact the seller, get the tracking code and contact the Postal authorities. I would only start asking questions on a public forum unless the seller did not respond or if I had real concerns regarding the seller.

The length of delays has increased, it is worth mentioning that the delays are affecting post both ways.

Exquisite detail. Like the pose, it seems very natural. I love all the gadgets on the soldier hat, and his intriguing look on his face as if smelling the enemy. Thanks for sharing.

Maurice and Pete,

I got my order today. It took 30 days but it is all here. I vote for airmail on the next one.

Maurice the head casting for this one was brilliant!!!!

Thanks
Todd

That's good news!
We think we know what the problem is.
We have been putting invoices with the kits that show the full value paid by the customer whereas, on the customs declaration we have put the replacement value and think that this might be the reason for some delays that have occurred. This also seems to be mainly concerning the USA parcels.
We always send overseas orders by airmail and 30 days is ridiculous!

30 days certainly suggests that US Customs have been involved. Our usual experience has been anywhere between 5 & 21 days from posting to receipt of items in the US.
Surface mail takes very much longer, anything up to 10 weeks!
Geoff

Pete and Geoff,

This makes sense to me in both cases. As a reference
I had a package sent from Kent by airmail (two weeks after Pete posted his package) and that took about 8 days. But that one may have been a higher rate because I had a tracking number and I had to sign for it.

Thanks
Todd
