Man - I like this bust! I'm not a big fan of busts generally, but this one is such a rugged and authentic Westerner face. Looks like a face Remington would have painted. The sculpting is so good you could paint ice in his moustache and it would look right.

Nice one ,lots of charactor in the face . I don't know if it was intentional but the face reminds me of the great actor Richard Farnsworth , star of the Straight Story and the Grey Fox

Not Farnsworth but ?

I did not intend it to be Farnsworth, but as I was visiting Lincoln new Mexico a year or so ago and come to find out that he was raised in the same town Billy the Kid and Pat Garret and the infamous Lincoln County War took place in........Maybe his ghost got into my head and guided my hand.

Actually the idea for the bust came from the movie 'Will Panny' with Charlton Heston - one of his best in my opinion.
