There are two prices on the Tin Berlin website...are there two scales, and if so, what is the other scale?
Is there a way to make the photos larger?
I wanted a full figure of this so I'm very glad Tin Berlin obliged.
I really like it...I think it represents one of the most modern SOF figures around to date.
Yes I wondered the same thing! 250mm would be awesome. Thanks for the reply and posting larger photos.
I do have a few questions...
- Why does it say 250mm sculpture? Will you offer this figure in 250mm scale?
- Is the Ukraine helmet flag patch molded on, or separate, meaning it's not a Ukrainian SOF figure, or is it?
- Will you be offering this figure in larger scale than 75mm (1/24)?
- Do you have a parts photo that you can post?
Nice relaxed arms on this one. Many figures have the elbows lifted far too high.
Not sure I like the legs posed that way...I've never known an Operator that's so relaxed...LOL.
I thought of that too until I realized that the Operator isn't ready for long distance combat in the U.S. SOF sense. He's not wearing kneepads and has no Camelbak. As such, while very modern, he's not in a pure and true "U.S. SOF long endurance long range combat configuration" as he is missing some gear.
Of course each Operator is different and he may be useful for a Direct Action Close Quarter Battle raid where water and kneeling isn't really required.
I highly suspect that this figure is Ukrainian, but what gets me the most is perhaps the scale. 1/24 scale (75mm) is still pretty small. The bust came with the option of a U.S. or Ukrainian flag and I'm wondering if the full figure provides that option as well.
Nonetheless, it is still an excellent figure for 1/24 (75mm) and 54mm (1/32) scale and one of the most detailed and modern around in those scales.
