Thank you for all the feedback, I've been blown-away with the response. This set has taken 2 years to develop, a lot of headaches, a ton of research and bundles of cash - so you'll understand that this is an important release for me, but the reaction within 24 hours has been overwhelmingly positive.
I've had a lot of questions, so I'll attempt to answer as many as I can here:
1. The completed scenario - I'm afraid this is in Germany with Günther, so won't be at Telford, but there will be a built and painted version of each of the guns and limber and I'm hoping to have a built (but unpainted version) with crew to view.
2. I did consider releasing the figures individually, wondered if there would be any interest, but have had enough feedback to justify doing it. So, I'll have all four figures individually next week, these will be numbered TW54019-22 in the figure range. Some modellers want just the 2 figures on the gun, some want the casualty and some the loader. My aim is always to make Tommy's War accessible, I don't limit production and I try to keep the cost of everything as low as I can, so having the 4 figures as individuals will help this aim.
3. The instruction sheets will be available as downloads from my website, I've got them but just need half an hour to get set-up, I'll have this done by next week at the latest. This will allow modellers to download a pdf for free.
4. I'm aiming to produce step-by-step guides to building the guns, these will be on my youtube channel. I've already got a link from my website to Youtube (but no content yet) but this is a long-term project.
5. One thing I always get asked for is larger scale figures. So, I'm delighted to say that at the British Model Soldier Society in April 2014 I'll be releasing a larger scale figure (it's sculpted and looks fantastic, I might even have a second).
6. Victoria Cross Heroes will continue, the next release will be September 2014. It won't be as large as the Nery project. VC Heroes may be multi-figures, it may be single figures, its totally flexible.
7. Deeds that thrill the Empire isn't dead, and if I get my money back from the Nery project then I'll be investing in another for 2014.
So, thanks for all your feedback, I'm looking forward to the weekend at Telford.
