Intersting how a sculpt of a Serbian war criminal has lots of people posting comments of outrage but a sculpt of a mass murderer who butchered his female victims draws no such response .Just an observation .
As I was one who took some offence about the release of General Mladic I just want to point out that it was not the just character but the way the release was presented as "hero and famous general" that stirred up some feelings. Still I agree that the tasteful sculpting and painting of a murderer luring in the dark is something that does not make me jump with excitement - but in difference to Mladic it was not presented with offensive and misleading comments.
- I wonder if Scale 75 will release the other end of the corner where one of his victims is coming down the road... of course she will have to look very young and sexy (and will not be an aged drunken desperate prostitute) to make the customers happy - but victims mostly do not get even that kind of attention - the same as in real life....

... I'm afraid I'm just going to purchase this one !! :) Very nice

I now do realize that I first knew the Judas Priest song, and only years after that, when I calmed down somewhat and actually got to read a book now and then, I learned the history of Jack the Ripper ...

I used to work in Aldgate and used to walk around Whitechapel lunchtime or for a meal in the evenings (Brick Lane was superb for good cheap Bangladeshi food) and this figure's brought back some memories of the area (I am not that old ) - lots of places haven't changed too much and it has a familiar feel to it. I've not diverted into "civilian" realms before but this could be a first...
