Hi All

Please see the latest release from Bonaparte Militaire Models. This is a Mounted Samurai bust. This was sculpted by Richard Bailey and is cast in Resin. It is 250mm scale and comes with 2 options for the right hand, either a sword as pictured on the model or spear as pictured on its own. We have limited stock at the moment so first come first served and we are awaiting a delivery of boxes to fit them. So first orders will be posted on Monday 18th September.

This can be ordered now from http://www.bonapartesmilitarymodels.co.uk/mounted-samurai-bust-289-p.asp

Thanks
Paul

Thirded!!

As an old fart from way back with the figures available then (think Imrie-Risley, Men at Arms, Tradition, etc), the level of detail obtained in them these days is unbelievable. Certainly there were some brilliant castings in those days (Historex, Post Militaire, D.G. Grieve), but I never expected to see the quality of detail we see now, as evidenced by this very fine piece of work. Brilliant work. Just waiting to see what some of the talented PF members do with this one.

Should be right up your alley Nap - no legs.(y)

Cheers
Chris

Just Wow !!!! Very beautiful bust! i like this very much ! Thank for the great news !(y)

Thanks for the great comments. I forgot to mention we will be at Euro this weekend for anyone that wants a closer look.

That is very nice indeeed, on the basis of the pics I'd go for the spear option the katana doesn't look quite right but it might be the angle. What ever way you go it's a superb bit of work.

My wallet is flying the white flag! Just bought one! What a great addition to the cabinet and hopefully a real crowd stopper at the shows!

tried to place bust into my cart. when going to the confirm page, it says that I still have to pay the VAT (included into regular price) in addition to the 9£ for international shipping. Is it normal ? I am not very familiar with buying from the UK except brushes from Jacksons

The horse really comes around in the world!
Just in Nappi's times with a Bavarian Chevauxleger on the road, it has now arrived in the Far Eastern ...

Brilliant sculpt! I love this special kind of busts!

Something similar is waiting for me on my workbench:

My Don Cossack Kusma Krjuchkov....:
