It looked super unpainted , but has totally shined with the paint job , which seems to have nullified the slight glitch with the bearskin. (y)
I also thought the face was a bit un french but it has also came through with shining colours :rolleyes:

What I said was there are a couple of very minor points that could have been done slightly different and the painting has nullified them .
It is a wonderful casting full of detail that tends to get by-passed in this scale at times ,
you should know this as you review enough to know what I mean .
Maybe a close look at what B Leibovitz does with 54mm might spread some light on what I am saying
 
In fairness to Nap RonT...the remark was to my post regarding NP's ability to create outstanding pieces no matter the subject matter (or scale I should add) :)
 
I agree with Ron. There are many minor errors : the "fusil" instead of the "mousqueton", the height of the "bonnet d'ourson", the axe seems a little bit small.
