I'm new to working with resin. Have 2 90mm figures with large resin excess at bottom. At least 2 inches by 2 inch by 1inch. What is best way to remove?

You can use an exacto knife to cut the extra resin away if its small. I also use a Dremel with a cut off wheel to remove and large casting plugs from 90mm to 120mm figures.

a razor saw will get the job done as well. I feel happier using one as I feel I have more control over the cutting. Resin is brittle so take your time. also make sure you waer some sort of face mask the dust coming off is not good for the lungs.

I have to agree with John, however, I would hold the part by the carrier in a vice to have even more control when sawing. Cut only as close to the finished part as you are comfortable and clean up the carrier remains after, with sand paper.
