I've posted this news in the lounge as its not 'figure news' although many will know I consider Tommy's War mainly a figure producer.

Today I've released a new Thornycroft lorry on the Type J chassis with two variants:

TW54E05 - Thornycroft Type J anti aircraft variant

TW54E06 - Thornycroft Type J general service variant

Both are 1/32 scale resin kits, available from www.tommyswar.com

I know I'm going to be asked 2 questions:

1. Yes, I'll be releasing figures to compliment the vehicles. However, it might be some time until there is a full anti-aircraft crew as there were 8 men to man that variant!

2. New figure releases are on schedule for April at the BMSS show in London and online. These are a 1/32 mounted lancer figure and a 1/10 scale bust.

But until then, I hope you like the lorry kits - even if they aren't figures!

I am new to the figure stuff but this has my interest for sure I will remember for down the road

Placed an order for the lorry with my local Hobby Shop a few days ago. After buying the 18 Pdr and Limber I am absolutely sold on Tommy's War products. Accuracy and fidelity of detail are superb. I will buy what ever they release; it's an irresistable compulsion now.

I saw this on your site a week ago and nearly lost my mind. I instantly thought of a pretty major project I'd like to try with the lorry as a centre piece. Which brings me to a question; Have you considered releasing a "conversion" type of figure kit? Something like an accessory package, or a mannequin with maybe some spare legs, arms head etc. for conversion purposes? I'll need enough for about 16 soldiers.;)
