Glenn, Thanks for your time and sharing how you did the birch trees! Really appreciate it. And I also appreciate your input on the FER kits. That is the kind of information that is first hand and influences modelers to buy products.

No bother at all Terry, I'm happy to be able to provide whatever insight I can. I do firmly believe that once modellers get a look at this kit at some up coming shows, the good people at FeR may have trouble maintaining stock.

Great job as always, looking forward to our next coffee to see it close up. Colin, Zeno you guys have access to Ian Pearson who has an extensive library and one of the best sources of research around. He sent me this figure plus an excellent writeup of this regiment.

cheers

Ray

Thanks Ray. We should get together sometime soon, maybe we can bring the latest copy of Military Modelling so we can autographs;).

Hi Mike. My understanding is that this represents an officer. Some of the research I did shows enlisted men's uniforms missing the epaulettes, and having a slightly different cut for the tunic.

thanks Phil and Tommi. I was thinking of tweaking the ground work in order to add some of the leaves I made by using my "Green stuff" leaf punches. They work fantastic, and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Thanks Mark and thanks Bob, I'm glad you had a chance to see this as it was a rather old thread that seems to have taken on new life. I'm always happy to answer any questions people might have so thanks for having a look.
