Hi thete

It's a shame it's not a commercial piece as I am sure many would find use of it

As its private use do you cast only as and when needed oe what if a commission painter wanted one ?

These new releases are more valuable than gold to people who are into converting and scratchbuilding (like myself).Well done Chronos!!!!

Oda.

Hi Kev you can buy them for your own use in conversions etc. You just cannot use it as the basis for a conversion or scratch built rider that you intend to then produce commercially.

In these days off, in Madrid (Spain) the Asociación de Modelismo Alabarda group has organized a master class in painting lashedy from Chronos.
In total the Spanish colleagues have bought about 20 horses and probably on them have decided to get the hand... here process photo.

Superb painting on one of the best equine figures on the market right now!!

This seam can be easily hidden under the breast collar.[/quote]

Well that depends on the subject matter! Not all horse harness from all periods of history have diagonal harness straps. What about Native Americans who do not have any harness at all! This was presented as a bare horse and yes it was a painting method demo but no indication was given as to what, if any, horse harness would be added. The point I was making is that proper preparation is just as important as a stunning paint job. It would not have taken a lot of time and effort to fill that seam properly.

I think that these artists did not have the task of painting a horse for a specific figure, so there is no saddle, no belts. It is possible that in the future, paint will be washed away from her and this horse will again be used in master classes.

Well yes OK but surely part of the success of a good paint job is prepping the figure properly. If I was going on a course I would expect proper prep to be included in the instructions.

If it is so necessary, then probably very soon I will be able to show how it is possible to seal the seams on this horse.
