A beautiful figure and I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this would make a great vignette, perhaps playing chess or more likely watching a dancing girl or an execution.

Great character and pose. I love the way the painter has added the light from the candle.

I'm another one that agrees, but I think the "post-production effects" distract some from the actual good work of the painter.

The figure has loads of character and as has been mentioned would be one popular in shows and competitions
 
Lovely sculpt!

For anyone intending to do this as a full-on historical piece the sword blade looks a bit short for the period but not excessively so and it's an easy enough fix if you wanted to lengthen it.
