Quite like the pose and overall look of the figure.
Some concerns though, for example at this scale Iwould have expected to see much finer detailed sculpting of the mail although this might be due to what looks like a heavy layer of paint. Similarly both the swords look a bit lacking in finesse. I'd really have to see this before I'd buy.....pity I'm looking for a 75mm in this pose.
Cheers

I certainly agree with the afore mentioned comments. Del has expressed my own concerns on the sculpting very well.
But I'd also like to say that this figure simply adds to the multitude of Hospitaller figures available which must exceed the actual numbers of real Hospitallers to have ever put heathens in hospital........surely there have been so many we can start giving them individual names!!

The "Hospitaller knight" is a tired old cliché in the hobby but of course this can be painted to be anything else the modeller desires if they like the pose and sculpting.

I think the mail texture is a reasonably good representation, much better than the clear (but overscale and exaggerated) c-shapes we usually have.

Similarly both the swords look a bit lacking in finesse.
They're utilitarian - plain and functional. The vast majority of swords were like this.

In 54mm would be better - this scales are in vogue....
Great painting but IMHO the marks of blood in the sword and ground are awful.

Pedro.

The sword is incorrect for the time. It should in fact be a sword of war, or hand and a half sword. This is a two-handed sword.
