Hi Guys!
In Euromilitaire show you will find a preview of the first Historical Bust 90mm produced by The Wheel of Time, and available in the our new website from October 2010.
Will be the first of a new series of busts in 90mm, born from the Pegaso 90mm range, well adapted and modified.
The first subject is a Polish Lancer of the Guard (Code MS-001), taken from the Pegaso kit 90-904 (now Sell Out).
The second will be a medieval subject…but which one?;)

Wonderful idea, I love that period, and a manageable scale ( reasonable time to paint ) for a bust.

Do you have a relationship with Pegaso since your using part of their figure ? :)

...yes, of course!!
"The Wheel of Time" is a Cultural Association born in relatioship with the friends of Pegaso and this project (a 90mm bust seires) is the first of good number of idea we have...(y)
The scale is 1/20 (more or less). The busts are made simply adapting the 90mm of Pegaso (and making some modifications...in this first subject we made a new face and some details in the Tchapska).

Half of a 90mm figure - waist up, one arm.
Smaller than the "busts" we've been seeing lately.
Wonder what the media will be - metal or resin?
Wonder what the price point will be . . . if it's half the price for current busts, they may have an interesting concept. If it's half the cost of a 90mm Pegaso metal foot figure, there may be very few buyers.
The pose of this figure is dramatic, if you can get by the missing arm. The market has responded to one-arm busts in the past, but the size of this is much smaller. Will it have the same impact on the stand, and the same allure for painters/collectors?
Not sure about this myself . . . at US$20 in resin, I'd probably say "yes", but at US$40 or higher, probably "pass". Depending on subject, of course, and whether all the other kewl kids are buying them!
This will be interesting to watch . . .

The idea was the same like you Massimo to offer to modellers smaller busts than the big 1/10 and i have to told you that this range are good sellers
so congrats for your new commpany and i wish you a great success

This is a great idea - I've been looking around for slightly smaller scale busts. Am very interested in this one and look forward to others in the future.
