Perhaps if I could read Italian, I would know this, but is the grouping of Woodland Indians and a Trapper a concept pic of a future release? Are these figures in the process of being sculpted? Thanks! Don

The Trapper is right up my ally,so that one is a no brainer. That Italian is one of the nicest Italian WW2 figures on the market IMO, I will have to add that to my "to do list"

Hi Don,
all these characters will form part of a whole diorama - a Hudson Bay Trading Post. You can see more images of the whole concept on the La Meridiana Blog here: http://meridianamagazine.blogspot.com/
It will include a house and pier/pontoon plus various accessory bits and figures.

Will the Trading Post be a commecially available set, or is it primarily a showpiece? Looks fantastic!

Hello
Fabrizio from La Meridiana asked us to put some more details about the Trading Post (he regrets his limited knowledge of English).

"This project will represent a French river port for fur trading. Initial presentations will be made at Calenzano (Italy) in March 2011. The whole project will be painted by Danilo Cartacci. The first subjects will include:
· AC54-32 Trading House 1 (already available)
· AC54-26 Canoa Oijbwa (already available)
· FR54-13 Scout Seneca (already available)
· FR54-22 Guerriero Irochese (already available)
+
· 1 Voyageur (stand-alone foot figure)
· 2 Indians (one kneeling down showing a furskin, the other standing up holding a rifle)
· 1 house (new)
· 1 small water fountain
· 1 flagpole
· bench
· pier/pontoon
· + several accessories (blankets, buckets, sleds, hides, snowshoes, tools)"

As mentioned in the earlier post, there are more images on the La Meridiana Blog: http://meridianamagazine.blogspot.com/

Cheers
Celine
