This is figure is based in the photos of the italian invasion of Ethiopia (Abissinia) arround the 30's. By his luxouses clothes and his riffle (maybe a carrano) it's a nobleman. But if you cange the riffle for and older one, the figure could be an ethiopian warrior at Adua battle (1896).

I edit my own post.
The riffle is a carcano mod 1891, so the figure could be at the Adwa battle with no conversion.

Hi Guys
This company really is putting out some wonderful figures varied with a great pallet of colours for the painter , would go well with perhaps an Italian Officer /soldier of that period , which would give a wonderful variation of colour kaki , and rich colours of the Ethiopian .
Got me thinking ?
Cheers Chris
