Hi guys :) !
Just got the latest issue of Historical Miniature ( No. 56 ) and spotted this really interesting 1/9 scale bust of a SS Wiking Division Scharfuhrer , Kharkov 1943 by NLP Miniatures. My question is, does anyone know whether this company has a web-page that I can order the bust from or which dealer carries this particular range ? Thanks in advance for all your help. Cheers !
Kenneth  .

I dont like to post messages like this but in this case I believe caution have to be taken. I know there have been problems here in Sweden with this company in the past.

Therefore I recomend you not to buy directly from them. A shame though as they do indeed have some interesting products.

Cheers

Thanks, Marcello ! Unfortunately, the website doesn't show the bust concerned ; perhaps it's a new release ?
Kenneth.

Thanks for the heads-up, Janne ! I really appreciate the " warning ". Cheers !
Kenneth.

Hello, my name is Christer Johansson and I paint the figures and busts for NLP Scale Miniatures, Sweden. The Owner and Director of the company, Torbjörn Bengtsson, will hereby comment the earlier misleading and discrediting comments made by Mr. Jan Nilsson:

My name is Torbjörn Bengtsson, Owner and Director of Northern Light Production, a family company, where NLP Scale Miniatures (NLP) is a part. We work with companies like Sovereign 2000, Aber, Great North Roads, Light Images and more. I have been the company owner for over 16 years.

I do like to answer to Mr. Jan Nilsson, a member of IPMS Stockholm, Sweden and a member of planetFigure. Also I did not know that planetFigure published this kind of unverified information without further investigation. This regards Mr. Jan Nilsson´s comments in the message posted on Jan 4 2007, 05:22.

Dear Mr. Nilsson.

Your confusing and discrediting information You spread about NLP really makes me sad. If You have any complaints or negative information You let us know. If NLP have caused any inconvenience, it will be corrected, that is the policy of the company. Take note, such comments, IF not correct, CAN be of legal action. Also, You have not contacted NLP and verified your “information” that you spread.

Of course, it’s very good if there’s information about companies and distributors that not handling there business as they should, but it is very important that the information is correct.

I want to ask You as follows:

• What experience do You have doing business with NLP?
• Why do You recommend people not to purchase directly from NLP?
• Do You have any agreement with somebody to harm the reputation of NLP? [/color]

In a creative future, Mr. Nilsson, contact NLP directly on the address: [email protected] so we can solve this item. I don’t want to see anymore unverified information or misguiding rumors that might harm the reputation of NLP, in any form.

Finally, I would like to bring up to date that NLP Scale Miniatures has a new web site under construction. Here we will offer resin figures and accessories in 1/35 scale and the new “Divisional Range”, 1/9 scale Busts sculpted by Tony Williams. We will publish this information when the web site is open. It will be very soon.

Once again, if the customer has any complaints, NLP will try to solve them as soon as possible.

HAPPY MODELLING.

Yours Sincerely:

NLP Scale Miniatures: Director: Torbjörn Bengtsson

While Planet figure does have a group of moderators, I think it's unfair to suggest they let members/non members recklessly post faudulent information. I'm sure that if they feel there is no evidence or basis for what is being suggested they will take whatever action they deem neccessary upon reading what has been posted. Until that time I would think Mr. Nilsson would take accountability for what he has said.~Gary

As King Solomon may have split the baby in half - Janne and Christos both have valid point/opinions.

1)Janne's opinion is just that, he 'recommends'
2)Christos, now is your opportunity to address Jannes grievances and demonstrate your company's integrity
3)This can be a win/win deal, play it right-

Hmm, I was trying to be polite.
But if someone doubt my credibility they could get an second opinion at the IPMS-Stockholm site. Its bilingual and does not need registration.

Most people from the Swedish modelling community post there.

In addition I think its very odd to even suggest such a thing that I have an agreement to harm NLP.

Perhaps Mr Torbjörn Bengtsson will adress why his company not any longer is present at the big shows here in Sweden?

Janne Nilsson

Did I smell blood? In the left ringcorner Torbjörn “ the used car salesman” Bengtsson and In the right Janne “Viking” Nilsson! This might be interesting, I'm all ears boys!
