I'd say you've acheived that Hendryk . I like the shield and the way it looks like it's been painted on campaign.
Too many shields are painted as if they are 'old masters' rather than a clear and simple way of identifying a knight in the heat of battle.

Very nice indeed agree about the shield good to see a more battle weary version ...like the coat colour as well ..is this based on a particular knight?
