75mm figure from Ares which I painted with acrylic and oil.
For a private collection.

I find this particular figure to be like something out of a romaticised Victorian painting, but that takes nothing away from an absolutely first-rate paint job (as always) from Sergey. You just can't fault anything, and that Shield is wonderful.

But as for many swedes, the wings on the helm feels so wrong.

It was supposed to be Gauls that had wings on their helmets and Vikings had horns, although there is no evidence to say that they had either..............................Only the Hollywood type of evidence
