this figure always benefits from a good paint job and nicely done heraldry. Yours is right up there with some of the best.
I hadn't really noticed Ray's point about the leg. I always felt that the hip angle compensated.

Here is the mixture I used for the bluecoat:

Base: Turqouise, Green sky and sky blue.
Highlights: Base + white
Shadows: Base + prussian blue and black.
