Hey guys,

I´d like to present one of my works now in the showcase.

It´s my third vignette I´ve finished since I started painting figures in the last year. So I´ll do my try outside the "Beginner Talk" ;). Hope that´s correct.

It shows two figures from the DML Gen2 "Hohenstaufen Division" somewehre in the Normandy. Both were painted in the "Rauchtarnmuster"
( Smoke Camo ? =/ ) The wooden base i made myself, also the groundwork from different materials. Don´t know exactly how to say in english what I´ve used.

In the future I´ll do a try on figures made of resin. I actually ordered an Alpine Figure Set and a Mantis Figure. But for praciticing I´m okay with the DML figures. Low costs = Low worry when something goes wrong.

Hope you like it :

looks good but uniform has a little shine maybe you should put matt lacquer on the figures to remove shine and protect collor I like dragon models cheap but good detail especially gen2 versions if you like good detali than perhaps you should paint this kit from zvezda the figures have good detail on the face hands have nails and uniform is good

Hello,

the figures are sprayed with matt laquer as finish, unfortunately they´re really shiny on the pictures, but not "in truth".

Thanks for your advice on the Zvezda item, I think I´ll take a look at it.

Cheers,
Mike.
