Normandy

Hi!
This is my New Project.. i plane to do a small vignette ,with a Church and with a couple figures the scene is playing in Normandy after the D Day..
The Church is not Ready a lot of work need to be done....mostly detailing.....
I hope you like it.

Roland, great start, what material are you using and is the scale I'm guessing going to be 120mm . Looking forward to following your progress.

eissteban:First was my plane to do a small Part of the Cathedral In Carentan.....but it such a huge monument for a small vignette like this.....
So i start to search for images about Churches in Normandy,than i found a nice one with a lot of damages,it inspired me.But i dont know the exact location....

mil-mart:For this project i used 5mm thick Styrene sheet,and 4mm thick Cork floor parts as Housecarl mentoined.It was a must be to use such a high dimensions,because the Church walls are thick....
Today i think i will start the roof,and maybe work on the Gargoyle...

eissteban yes it would be nice,but also to late cause i allready build the church)
Here is a little update....i finishd the Roof,and started the street.This coble stone thing is nasty.
But i allready like the results.After im done, i will storm the coble stones with a smooth Sandpaper.
