Watched a show theother day about the Canadian North shore regiment in Normandy.
Needed a break from my current Guards armoured scene, so thought I'd do this in the mean time.
Knocked this up with various Hornet parts. Insignia are from Peddinghaus.

That’s a fine piece of paintwork. Everything about this figure is spot-on, especially the shade of blanco on the webbing & the painting of the helmet scrim.

Agree ref uniform and webbing colours .look spot on ...are they your own mixes ?

Great to see this figure. I live in New Brunswick and the North Shore Regiment is one of our storied regiments.

Hi Paul as usually, another fantastic figure...i like so much your soldiers,in particular when you work on british soldiers.....now you add the weapon too......if i remember well your last figure with weapon was a winter Verlinden german soldier in overcoat with Hornet head...isnt it???In which way you realized the rifle sling???

Yeah oddly for soldiers i don't arm them very often, as too which was my last your memory is probably better than mine.
The sling is a etched brass one from Inside the Armour, I think they are oop now.
