Northumbrian warrior

Hi folks,
Please see my recently finished 54mm Latorre Northumbrian warrior. I have converted this slightly by giving him a fur cloak made out of trusty milliput. I also found the original spears to be a bit flimsy so I have replaced this with gardening wire using milliput for the weights and plastic sheet for the spearheads.
All in all an enjoyable painting experience. Hope you like it.

Silly me. Since posting this I have noticed that I have uploaded the WIP shot of the front view. Since then I have replaced the hand around the spears and also painted a chequered pattern around the hem of his clothing. I have included a photo of the finished item for you to view.

Very nice finish, if you had not said, I would have thought that pelt was standard to the figure. Very nice addition.

The addition of the fur makes alot of difference.
Maybe on the shoulder the fur is to thick.

Looks good to me the fur should be thicker around the shouldrrs IMO anyway
