Just thought I would throw this little bit of info out for those interested.
My wife and I have have a "dyson" vacuum cleaner for at least 10 yrs..Well one of the plastic parts broke so we checked the manual and found the parts list and number. Looked on Ebay and found exact part for $5.00 shipped......Received today the part that looks exactly the same except on closer inspection the name and detail are all soft unlike the original where the detail is very sharp. Plus a note....
WARNING! This product contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.....Made in Malaysia.....
Now I ask you,
Are we in a world of s**t or not?

Yes, probably somewhere I could find an original but it said... "dyson" Genuine Component. The thought never crossed my mind that it would be a recast. Maybe Malaysia is where Dyson has his parts made. Either way, I still stand by my last statement.
