Well, in this just new born 2014, the bar is being placed quite high. Here's the Noturna Models incarnation of the character created by Luis Royo and Romulo Royo: The maiden "Malefic":

I wonder where she lifts weights :) Pretty damn big sword for such a fragile damsel :hilarious:

Fantasy is fantasy ... appreciate well this stunning creation, folks:

All in all a thrilling miniature that will certainly give the word "bust" a new meaning! And if you enjoy comics, here is Malefic in flesh and bones (or shall I say in coal and ink ):

Cheers! What a fabulous lady!

Great sculpt and paint from the Royo work base. Excelent release!!!(y) Cheers Borek

Nice figure, "bust" is maybe pushing it a bit, but nice nonetheless. This is probably going on the wish list, painted a Nocturnal bust before and it was a pleasant experience (and it was a proper bust, a dwarf).

Billy :)

I have my copy in hand and it is a stunning piece. The cast is perfect and the fit is sublime. Can't wait to start painting her. Oh, and Jesus's painting just keeps getting better and better, well done on a perfect release.

I just love Luis Royo's paintings, and this is a great take on this character. Nice sculpting. Doesn't worry me at all that she has no lower legs, its all artistic license

I like it. I think of it as an extended bust - more detail and more options in terms of posing versus a basic head-to-armpits piece and without going to a 12+ inch anime style full and more expensive figure. I like doing 90mm(ish) flats like this - head to mid-thigh; they fit nicely in a six inch frame.

Really like the paint job on her but would be extremely hard to get a smooth finish as this just using brushes,so although I admire what people can do with an airbrush it's not for me.Too old to change!!!

Maybe it should be called a "Bod"

It is rather nice, and I bet Jimbo's thinking legs already. Am I right Nap?
