Here's a pic of the newest addition to my collection, Warriors "Vampire of the Confederacy" sculpted by Jim Maddox. 1/8 scale bust. I tried looking for pics of it painted up, but have been unable to find any. So if you have any, feel free to share them!

I'm thinking that the jacket will be butternut, with a red shirt underneath, sound good? I also picked up a set of 1/9 scale heads from Warriors for practice. I've never attempted anything this size before I want to get some experience on something first so I don't screw it up (might be a gift for a friend).

First off i would like to thankyou for the help you gave me and i think butternut is a good choice but there are also many other things you could do. Confederates late in the war would wear captured union uniforms or anything they could find or pillage. So there are many different options, regardless i cant wait to see the outcome.

Have A Nice Day :)

Dear Evan, the inside cover of Historical Miniature issue #19 has a colour photo of one. It's looks like the box art, so you've probably seen the picture anyway.

Have to admit, this one has caught my eye as well. It's good to branch out a little every so often and stops you getting in a rut. In the near future I also fancy doing the old Gary Oldman from Bram Stoker's Dracula...so beware.....(I said that in a Vincent Price voice).
