Appalling sexism - the objectification of women to the extreme. A real problem with this hobby and something I don’t want to be part of, especially as the father of two daughters - what could I say to them about this? Ever wondered why there are so few women drawn to the hobby?

This kind of imagery would be banned in any other decent publication - the world has moved on except among niche male hobbies it seems.

The final straw for me - look to find me no more on this forum.

And to the perpetrator - GROW UP!

Jeez, really, you want to characterise me based on someone else's figure? Grow up yourself. Whilst I don't care for the figure, I don't need to act all indignant and pious about it, I can just ignore it and get on with my hobby, 1/35 or 1/16 figures and armour. It's a resin figure, not a political statement or world policy. And, I'm guessing, this is very lucrative for Brother Vinni, just not my money. You want to stop seeing these figures here, them stop giving it so much attention. You stop coming here, sulking more or less, there is less overall traffic here, therefore less likely the site will be around this time next year. For what benefit? This figure upsets your sensibilities? Spare me.

This figure doesn't do it for me, and I suspect my wife's eyebrows would shoot up if I bought one. I find the proportions cartoonish and unlikely to arouse the interest of even adolescent boys. An anatomically well proportioned figure I suspect would also be far more alluring than what's on offer. For those who enjoy painting female fantasy figures, the likes of Pegaso produce far better proportioned figures.

Personally, like one of the posters above, I have far greater concerns with SS figures, but I do not wish to enter into a slanging match over them. I just have to accept that we all have different tastes and interests.

I see no reason for any figure modleller to abandon the site, which I hope continues as a valuable forum for all those of us who love this hobby of ours.

That Lady must suffer of terrible neck pain. While I like do paint classical Pinups (like Andrea Miniatures), this is not my piece of cake. Why does she bother to put on Boots, Gloves and Hat?
