Another stunning piece of art work from Nuts Planet it looks an absolute fabulous face sculpt love the textures that have been incorporated and the extra idea of the helmet addition well thought out really setting bench mark on quality, returning back to the face if the Aqulia was anything to go by the face will be a dream to paint .
Well done all at Planet figure
Cheers Chris

Overall I like it a lot, great face and the helmet is awesome, and can we ever have to many Teutonic knights??? I do agree with Gaudin that in this scale, the chain mail could have been a lot more....chain like. Unpainted it kind of blends with the fur and would look more at home on a 54mm fig. They have just set the bar so high (along with Life Miniatures) that something like that sticks out. YMMV

Pete Morton sculpted his chain mail like that and it seems to work once it's painted I guess you have to paint these figures to find out sometimes, what looks odd in primer often works in the paint I guess. The mail on the Kingdom of Heaven bust is sculpted exactly the same way I've just looked at mine and nobody seems to have had any problems with the look of that AFAIK. As said the real problem is which head to use :nailbiting: I'm liking Steve's theory of doing both and swapping them :shifty:

I agree Helm, i have been looking at the faces of both the Aquila and the Knight there are distinct differences long hair beard different mouth shape once painted they will look completely different mine looks like Shaun Bean , As far as a crowd pleaser , ? so are the plethora of German figures German officer with gun German officer without gun , German in sexy camo German not in sexy camo ,German in leather coat , not in leather coat this is not taking away from the wonderful pice a off work that they are ,but they are market drivin .
I don't have a period so for me and in a way out of my comfort zone I will be getting it , wonderful sculpt very little clean up ,options of heads job done for me paint on .
Just my my feelings
Cheers Chris

Guys, calm down - you really sound like a bunch of grumpy old men. If you are as old as I assume you might have forgotten about the times back then when not every day new model kits of breathtaking quality were released. I don´t care if the face of this fine bust looks similar to the Aquila-bust. Nobody needs to paint all busts and all Germans - you can make a choice and paint the next one with a more different face or the sexier outfit.
You can even wait for another British Agincourt, Crimean, Napoleonic, Rorke`s Drift, WWI, Arnhem-Para, Battle-of-Britain-Fighter-Pilot, Falklands, Gulf-War, Afghanistan -release and be happy ;) .
Have a nice day!:)
Martin

You could also remove the horns on the helmet and he could be painted as any medieval knight from that period.
Brian
Agreed Brian the more talented members here ( Not me :nailbiting: ) could turn the helmet into one the spectacular tournament crested styled helms like these
