It looks like the figure is wearing the m42 uniform. By Market Garden, they were wearing the M43 uniform which is different. If you google the two you will see the difference. Also the 101 had flags on their right shoulders for Market Garden (not D Day). The piece doesn't actually say Normandy anywhere I have seen even though it was released on the anniversary. I think the box art says WWII only, so if it's accurate for Market Garden all is well. I will get one if these just because it's such a good and recognizable portrait.

You guys realize you're posting pictures from Holland right?

I believe by Market-Garden they were all wearing the flag patch on the right shoulder. At Normady that was a 82nd Airborne practice. The piece doesn't actually say Normandy anywhere I have seen even though it was released on the anniversary. I think the box art says WWII only, so if it's accurate for Market Garden all is well. I will get one if these just because it's such a good and recognizable portrait.

Lets all just take a deep breath now, and remember......it's a field dressing. I'll repeat...it's field dressing.
It's really not that important that we all fall out over it. Put it into perspective.
Now altogether sit with your legs crossed close your eyes and chant....ohmmmmmmm.....ohmmmmmmmm.....ohmmmmmmm and think of a nice place....deep breaths and let it all go.
