If this was my period and subject I think I would have to buy two to get both versions. Looks like an art print rather than a painted casting. How can it get better than this?

Brilliant, like Colin not my era but very tempted by this.
To me it represents the pinnacle of today's manufacturers modelling standards
Love it :) the tone of colours used makes it look just like WWII film footage and photos
 
That's one hell of a paint job what more can be said that has not already been said fantastic job all round.

Wow, those are fantastic. Excellent detail. I like the optional head choice, as that solves the issue with the first aid kit on the helmet. Plus, you can't go wrong with a "Filthy Thirteen" option…completely bad ass. But a note to your painter…contrary to popular belief, the "war paint" was not red and white, but black and white. It was taken directly from the wet paint that they painted the invasion stripes onto the C-47 fuselages.
