Top figure and painting, will the figures be available for purchase in the UK?
Cheers

Bought this figure from SK Miniatures when I was at FW. It will not look as good as your John when I've finished painting it but it's a very nice figure. The detail in the casting is great, the face is super. Although I can work from the box you did John, as a painting, I am not sure I can make out the patch on the hat band, it's my old eye :( sadly. Grateful for any advice.

Nice figure; great painting. Looks like some ANZACS will be joining to join my grey army when they reach the USA.

Great to hear you got hold of the figure Roy. If there is any info I can help with please don't hesitate to message me.The patch on the hat band or puggaree is a black and white checked pattern identifying the the Canterbury regiment.
Regards,John:)

Many thanks John.

I've been focusing on the Tommy's war figures and given they are for the early phases of WW1 I've tended to go more for a 'greenish hew' on the khaki scale. For this figure I am thinking of painting his uniform more towards the brownish end of the Khaki scale. The reasons being the figure represents the later WW1 period, the theatre is Mesopotamia and the pictures of your box art here on PW seem to lean me towards that way of thinking. Sadly the figure on the box I bought is unpainted, guess I bought the sample ;) but still a bloody good figure.

Ta very much for you kind offer.

Cheers
