Pretty spectacular piece Andy, and the painting looks great as well. I presume this will be released as a kit?

What can I say Andy other than extremely poignant!

Well done for capturing this sort of "humanity" in war.

Keep me posted on next stage please,

Mike

Thanks Guys,
for the comments.Tommi,I hope to release this kit once painting is complete.Of course this pair need not only be with an NZ theme,it could pass as also British/Commonweatlh of the day too.

Lovely piece Andy - very much in the style of Phil Walden ( that is meant as high praise) and as you said could be used for other nations - just need a few german para helmets on ground -he he

Hello Andy

Great work in any aspect! Please allow me one little question: Is there a special reason why you didn't add any equipment? No ciritic just curiosity.

Regards, Stefan

Greuzi Stefan,
I based this pair on a painting by a NZ war artist by the name of Peter McIntyre durnig WW2.The picture involved a woungeg soldier being carried by his freind. There was no equipment visible in the painting.Maybe the idea is to say more with less.
All the best
Andy
