DISCOVER THE NEW OCTOBER 2024 DIORAMA

A group of Japanese soldiers have taken an American soldier prisoner, the officer with a katana, threatens the captive. The tension is palpable, and the prisoner's fate hangs in the balance. However, on top of a small hill, a team of American soldiers watches the scene, ready to ambush the Japanese at any moment.️⚔️

The individual figures would be useful in other scenarios, but taken as a whole this entire scene just doesn't work for me on any level. It's like something out of a Commando war comic (only less realistic  ).

Given the general scarcity of Japanese WW2 figures, it would be nice if they were to be made available individually.

You're right Steve, Japanese soldier figurines are rare, but Paracel made some, and they're not bad at all, and some brands are starting to get interested. I also forgot Ardennes Miniatures which is starting in this topic!
And there we have good quality 3D!
Examples :
Not soft plastic soldiers that can be bought in bags!

While the future release IMHO can be improved in many aspects this thread was most likely not meant to promote other brands on the market.
I would rethink the concept of this scene - the drama is not translated in the poses of the figures and the story itself is difficult to tell in miniature.

My two cents.

Do to family history, and the war in the Pacific. The execution pose of a bound prisoner is just not right. I am cringing seeing it. :sour::sour::sour::sour::sour:. So here is my very first negative post on this forum. This set of figures sucks!

I am all for free speech and, I am not saying take it down from post.

Hi

As a Diorama I feel it just doesn’t work at all the, it would work better without the prisoner and officer ....a group of Japanese resting about to be attacked from above

The figures would be of use individually as well to use in other scenes

Just my thoughts

Yes, that could also be the point of view. The diorama allows for that change.

Yes, I think your contribution is good.

Yes, I think it's fine that there are opposing opinions. Thanks.
