Hello everyone,

Thought I’d post this latest figure ive just completed. It’s a bit off the beaten track for me, both subject matter and base material. What may interest people is that in these days of ever increasing costs, this combination of models cost next to nothing to make. Also it’s a bit of the old mixed with the new
Figure: EK casting bought at EME this year for £11 (although if I’d bought it directly from Siberia it costs $4.50)
Horse : Airfix (combination of bits from their Napoleonic range) bought in 1971 for 2s/6d if my memory serves me well.
Just shows you should never throw anything out, you never know when it might come in handy.

Thanks for looking
Terry

Very nicely done. The Airfix figures were much under-rated.

Agree there ..they work well together ..just goes to show how resourceful modellers are

Nice lace detail work

PS Why not put something in the comp Figure of the Month as well ??

Very nice combination of two kits from so long apart.
The painting is excellent.

Cheers,

Hi Terry,

Maybe I' wrong but I have not seen a white busby for this regiment before. But this is excellent painting.

Hi Victor

Many thanks for your compliment At this time 1808, the officers of this regiment wore a grey fur busby and grey fur edging to the pelisse. Since originally posting this piece I have sharpened up some of the details around the eyes and to some of the lacework.

Regards
Terry
