I received this figure from Mick 3272, lately, Mick's Mick's, who very kindly sent me this figure and another 2 busts. Thank you Mick, its very kind of you.
I am posting this as completed, as I have only the metal work on the pouch belt to complete.
The ground work has some paper leaves punched with a leaf cutter from RP Toolz, the paper was then given a clear wash with Citadel Agrax Earthshde.
I hope I have done you proud Mick, thanks again mate.

Hi Bob,
Yes you have done a cracking job on this. apart from the painting which I only wish I could do as well at this scale you have the sword slings just about perfect.
Its nice to see with paint on instead of dust as that is all he would be covered in if it stayed in this barracks .
Well done
Mick

Hello Bob.
Well I did say that we'd accept nothing less after your last figure and you've come up trumps.
I think this is lovely. A little touch of Horan came to mind.
Mick must be a very nice man.

Thanks both, this was a Labour of love and I really enjoyed this one. The late wars of Victoria's reign are a favourite period for me.
Thanks again

Nicely done Bob. I have had this one forever it seems. Looks very good painted up. Must down load your photos for reference (and inspiration as well). I love the Crimean stuff with a lot in the GGA and not too many painted.

Thank you all very much, to say I'm chuffed to bits the way this has turned out , is an understatement. clrsgt, my inspiration for the paintwork here was John Belcher his blog can be seen here: http://www.planetfigure.com/threads/officer-of-the-british-4th-light-dragoons-1854.56085/
