Ydgin, great piece the gold work is excellent and the scarlet is lovely and rich as it should be. The blue facings could have been a tad darker but that doesn't detract from a cracking bust.

Cheers Simon

Thanks Simon, it's easy to fix, although such a bright blue could appear from overexposure during photographing, I'm glad you liked the work. Sincerely, Eugene

Eugene, over exposure is something my photography suffers from and it does bleach out colour and saturation. It was only an observation so don't go changing anything on my say so, if it looks right in the flesh then it's obviously right. As I understand it there are or were some painters who paint specifically for the camera and sacrifice it looking right on the model itself, sounds odd to me but each to their own.

Cheers Simon

That's right, but since we communicate virtually, and we don't see the works live, photos play a big role, and there are a lot of pitfalls here, as my friend the artist says: to draw, this is half the case, you still need to take pictures so that the work looks good,ah, it doesn't always work out. Thanks..

Hi Eugene

Always nice to see your artwork , really like the scarlet on this , a good sculpt highlighted by the painting
