Red coats were very common for soldiers during the Civil Wars in Britain and Ireland. The Parliamentarian New Model Army as well as the Kings Lifeguard of Foot on the Royalist side. Red cloth was frequently issued for uniforms. However, these figures can really be painted in many colours; red, blue, green, white, black, etc, plenty of options.

One of my all time favorite kits.I have the original release from many moons ago.I f i did not,I would be all over this.Glad to know who the sculptor is too.It was not stated on the original box.Very well indeed Olimpya Miniatures.

Oda.

Thanks Oda!;)
Yes, the sculptor is the legendary Stefano Borin, who unfortunately has stopped sculpting, but we hope he will resume soon. We are glad you have it. It was and still is a beautiful little scene and we are sorry to lose it for those who still appreciate these pieces.

Good pair of figures and a Mr Boring sculpt as well

Good to see this available again

Thanks for sharing the info

We couldn't lose it forever. We believe that these figures are still current and beautiful yet to be painted!
