FANTASTIC, a beautiful sculpt and an underrated period.
I will be grabbing one of these for dad, top sculpting Moz
Best wishes

Now we will want the Lifeguard to go with him. The one wearing the great tall Bearskin. What a fab pair they would make.

Moz sculpted a Lifeguard of a similar era many years ago under the Roll Call brand. Smaller scale but still very nice.

He needs to do another one then, but thanks for that Geoff, I am not really that informed about Roll Calls inventory of figures.

I think you might be thinking of David Grieve. A Lifeguard from 1833 in the bearskin was the last figure he released in his Classic 100mm range. A beautiful figure by the way.

No there was a bust of a Lifeguard circa 1830 from Roll Call. Normally I wouldn't rely on my memory but I have this one stashed away. He also did a Lancer Officer bust from the 1820's. Both approx. 1/12th scale.

Hi to one and all,

I have this bust in front of me now ready for a Review which will be in the next couple if days hopefully.....allowing for SWMBO shopping trips !!!!

As for the 1/12th Life Guard I have the Roll Call one and nice it is as well (also have the Lancer!!!!!) and I agree that a companion for this piece would make stunning pairing, this period is so full of great untapped subjects

Thanks for sharing
