I fancied this one after seeing the thread from Nap, so got one from Hawk Miniatures.



I cleaned him up and primed him



So now ready for some coloured stuff.

I have done the face and hair in Artist's oils after the eyes painted in acrylics.



The tunic neck and waistcoat given a thin base coat of Vallejo German Grey. I think I shall concentrate on the waistcoat before doing the tunic.

Many thanks Guys, I have done a bit more and this is it today, eyes have had enough.

Just some base colours added and loving it, all the detailing on the lacing and braid edging.



If weather naff tomorrow some more will be done, have a great weekend, time for a cider.

Thanks Nap, the details certainly did and quite a bit of touching up, still expect that now with my poor old shaky hand.

The cider did go down well thanks.

Back to it this morning, that strong cold wind is no good for me so no walk into town for a coffee.

Progress before lunch, the main colour on the tunic added after adding some shadow to the creases also the lacing and braid metalised using colour and pearl medium.
