So, after much trial and error this is where I stand so far. First the pants. Am I there with the red or do it over? Next was the lace. I used Lou Mases' gold with out gold SBS but it's more yellow than gold. I'm not unhappy with the braiding but I am not super happy either. So let me know what you think and tell me if it's ok, should I start over but I need some opinions.

A little bit difficult to tell, but what you have looks okay to me.

Not bad at all.
But Lou has alot off expirience. Believe me, his first golden breadings with paint didn't look as he wants. Lou have some try and error to.
If you try a new technique it isn't always as you expect.

Thanks guys but I still think it's to yellow. I think I need to start it over (the braids!!) and go for a better gold appearance. You know, the longer you stare at it, the worse it gets!!! I said that about my ex-wife too!!!! Oh well, I will give it another go and see how it turns out
