Daniel, please contact John Jeffries of Birch Tree Productions on Long Island ([email protected]). Describe what you have in mind - how tall, diameter, type of wood/finish, etc. John has an extensive selection of bases, that he makes, or will put something together for you. John is a very good figure painter in his own right, so you'll be dealing with someone who understands what you're trying to accomplish. Plus, he is a hellava nice guy!! (Please tell him I said that!!) Keep the scene tight - you have only two figs, so not much more than 4 inches in diameter. John also has a pile of asymetrical bases - one of these might fit as well or better than a round. Good luck!!

Hi Daniel ,

NowI like the white tones really effective will you be doing any more on the contrast or the highs?, love the facing colour as well ..this is going to be something that will look great when all put together

Thanks for sharing

Fantastic job on this little scene. As usual, your colours are right on, I like the story idea of the scene... maybe they are pondering the new helmet in the officer's mess or maybe the armoury... this gives openings for playing with some other scenic devices

Nice work

Hey Nap, i am still debating if i should increase the shadows or increase the lights, cause i think if i increase the lights it will be very close to the vest and pants, and that is exactly what i don't want, i've always like the contrast between the two tones of white.
cheers
