Ok I "think" I've got his bald patch down now  First few attempts looked like the last turkey in the shop  and tinkered with the face and eyes some

Had a stinking cough so not slung any paint around for a while, little bit more done today on the pate and face. Still not sure on the eyes though, any thoughts ?

It's coming along very well Steve. I'm not sure about the eyes, I think they've been sculpted slightly different, like he's doing that Roger Moore thing.
Maybe a wash of the same mix as you've used on the 5 o clock shadow on his tonsure, what do you think?

Roger.

He's got an eyebrow raised Rog ala Robert Moore not sure if that's what's throwing me off or not the first go at it I painted the left eye too big because of it I have put some grey on the tonsure Rog but I figured it would be paler than the face, might try another wash of grey when it's dried thanks
Steve

The way the eyes are sculpted threw me off a bit, I like it though it's something a bit different and adds to the character of the figure. Probably best to leave them alone for now and look again again later. I agree about about the tonsure, it doesn't want much doing to it.

Yeah I'm going to take it up to Crewe next month and let some of the grown ups have a look at it, see what they say re the eyes  Thanks Rog
