Of course, Rick Baker is a movie legend. This little piece shows why. But I have to say that it is a rather disturbing interpretation of old Popeye for me. There is nothing in the original cartoon that suggests that he was an antiquated octogenarian! Sorry, this just looks like an off-key, but beautifully done fantasy piece for me.

Call me crazy, but I prefer my Popeye less crinkly. Kyuk, kyuk, kyuk, kyuk......:LOL:
 
Mike, I'm sure Rick Baker intended the piece to be a rather disturbing fantastic interpretation of Popeye.
A simple copy of the cartoon character would hardly be a bust worthy of note nor worthy of his talent in 3d sculpting.
