Does anyone have a good sbs for making plastic wood look weathered using oil paint ? I might start a plastic model of blackbeard and there is a wooden deck and chest nvolved .

David Soper (Sproket) has an article on his blog which will probably be right up your strasse though looking at his work will probably make you want to throw all your stuff in the bin in despair (it's a bit Good)

He uses acrylics but the colours aren't hard to replicate in oils. For example, you'll get a nice transparent purple by mixing Ultramarine Blue and Alizarin Crimson, thin it down and you have a nice glaze.

Thank you have to give it a look . Just getting back in after about three years and using a plastic blackbeard model to revisit my skill Lol
