Ademola 22 has recently released a 200mm Mountain Man bust sculpted from a James Bama Print. Last year I emailed Roman Rux tons of photos depicting the American Mountain Man. Roman chose this one and named it after a fellow planet member.

Arriving in Ademola 22's sturdy black box with the box art on the front the kit itself was sealed in a clear plastic zip-loc bag and cushioned between layers of bubble wrap.

Above you see several views of the Mountain Man with the detail sculpted towards an older, weathered face with the tell tale lines in his face from living outdoors all of the time. A small tear in his shirt is stitched back together. A bone handled skinning knife is fastened to his shoulder belt and buckskin fringe, indictive of the Native American clothing, adorns his shirt. He also has a beaded necklace with Bobcat claws around his neck.

Wanting something different from the usual bust plinth Filip sculpted old planks, seasoned with cracks and grain of the wood and added a Lizard at the bottom of the plinth.

Above is the doeskin rifle cover most Mountain Men kept their Hawken Rifle in for protection when in "Friendly territory". It has been adorned with stitching and beads to individualize the decoration of the rifle case.

Above are all 3 parts of the kit dry-fitted together. The rifle has a locator lug that fastens to the corresponding hole on his back for correct positioning.

Above is a close-up from a print by James Bama that Filip used as a reference.

Conclusion:
An excellent bust depicting an old aged Mountain Man from the American West. Highly recommended.
